any means. It
will be updated over time, as new good drama movies, worth watching, are made...
If i missed to mention some good drama movies please feel free to contact me and i'll add
them to the list. This list is made of titles i have watched or
read/heard are good and watchable. If you don't agree with some of movies
listed here it's perfectly ok since we can't all have the same taste :)
But again, this is not my favorite drama movies list, it's sum of my favorite
movies plus movies other people recommended. All of
these drama movies are sorted alphabetically and not by ratings since purpose of
this list is to give you some ideas about new movies or to remind you of some good drama movies
from past you
could watch again, not to tell you which ones are the best because it depends of
everyone's personal taste.

List Of Reviewed Drama Movies:
Another awesome movie i am adding to site
in today's update :) The Duchess is movie based on true
story about personal and political life of British aristocrat Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire...
The Duchess shows glamorous life of nobles and
aristocrats but also many bad aspects of British society
from 18th century... Oh yes, i have to add, Keira Knightley
looks just beautiful in whole movie !!! And she played
her role perfectly in my opinion :) The Duchess will get
awesome 4.5 out of maximum 5 from me, it's a must see if
you ask me :)

I know i didn't want to watch Charlie
Wilson's War again but i had to play it anyway - my dad watched it yesterday and told me it was not
so bad... I know i hated the movie when i saw it for the
first time so i had to play it again and see if it's
possible that my dad is so liberal, deep into system, and could swallow all
that political propaganda that's all over the movies i'm
so sick of in last few years... Charlie Wilson's War is
another movie where Americans are saving the World
(especially resourceful parts of it) from evil Russians,
or whoever else their excuse can be and i'm sick of all
of that... And i have decided to stop writing about
movies that have any sort of political propaganda in
them from now on and to rate them with lower rates than
they have deserved - to boycott them in other words...
Charlie Wilson's War, enjoy poor 2 out of maximum 5 from
me :(

Ok, this was a good one :) Lakeview
Terrace did something that a very small number of movies
managed to do to me - to make me hate some character so
bad that i wish i could get into movie and kick his
bottom :) Samuel L. Jackson played his role as dirty cop
who's also a racist just perfectly in my opinion...
Lakeview Terrace is movie that shows us what a guy like
that can do when young inter-racial married couple moves
in house next to his... Lakeview Terrace gets very good
4.5 out of maximum 5 from me, don't think about it -
just get it and watch it if you ask me :)

The Alphabet Killer is movie based on true
killings in Rochester, NY... Personally i love movies
based on true stories because i'm aware what i'm
watching actually happened to someone... I liked The
Alphabet Killer because it kept me tense whole time and
till the last few scenes i couldn't tell who the serial
killer was... On the other hand mental problems of main
character were a bit distracting and i think movie would
be better if it was only focused on murders and
killer... Anyway, The Alphabet Killer gets solid 4 out
of maximum 5 from me :)

Before getting Hero Wanted i heard good
words about it, that it's about just a regular guy who
became local hero by saving a girl's life and i really
liked the idea... However after watching it myself i was
a bit disappointed... it's not completely bad, i mean
idea is there, it could be awesome crime movie without
destroying half a town with flashy explosions and
special effects, but something was missing... Maybe it
was too slow for my taste... Hero Wanted will get 2.5
out of maximum 5 from me...

For start i want to say that Hancock is
one of my favorite movies from 2008 :) the starting idea
behind movie to have superhero that's most of times in
bad mood, who has many bad habits including alcohol
problems etc was just cool... and there was no evil
counterpart that good one will fight against like in all
other superhero movies :) without anymore delays i am
giving Hancock 4 out of maximum 5...

It was nice to watch good and slow family
drama for a change after several action movies i watched
recently :) Frozen River is movie about woman who lives
alone with her two sons near Canada-USA border... Since
her husband left she is in debts and can't cover them
all with regular job, so when she accidentally met girl
who smuggles people into USA she was forced to join her
in order to earn some extra cash... That's when problems
started... As i said Frozen River is good drama and i'm
giving it very good 4 out of maximum 5 :)

Here we go, another movie with terrorism
and terrorists, one of many many others made in near
past... Will American propaganda ever stop? Like anyone
who got half of a normal human's brain will ever swallow
it (check out Documentary category and Zeitgeist movies
to see who really was behind 9/11 and other so called
"terrorist" attacks) :( anyway, i'm not here to talk
about politics but about movie and Traitor is a good
one... It offers lots of tense action, insight view of
Muslim life and habits (i can't say how much it's
relevant since i'm not Muslim tho) and few unexpected turns
in story that will keep you interested till the end :) I'm giving it
4 out of maximum 5 :)

Here's short review of great comedy i
watched few months ago but played it again yesterday :)
Just like the first time when i watched Zack and Miri
Make a Porno i had lots of laughs and fun and once again
i was pleasantly surprised with usage of "professional adult
terminology" and various toys
including
Fleshlight... i guess we should thank adult industry
professional stars that were part of this movie (Traci Lords, Katie Morgan) for that
which is great and adds relevance to movie itself :) The
story behind Zack and Miri Make a Porno is simple - two
young people who are very close friends decided to make
a porno movie in order to earn some cash and cover their
bills - but
whole movie in general is very good and entertaining so i'm giving it 4 out of maximum 5... Use one quiet
evening to watch this great comedy with your partner,
you'll have good time and after it, well, you can make
your own adult movie hehe ;) i'm kidding a bit... btw since i
mentioned kids, don't ever let them look this movie,
it's absolutely not for them :)

I just watched Gran Torino... I've read some reviews before watching it
and in most of them Gran Torino got pretty good comments
but somehow this movie just wasn't for me :) don't get
me wrong, it's not bad at all, it's just i personally
didn't find it entertaining as i expected it to be... Clint Eastwood
was an excellent bad-mood war veteran who got sick of
local gangs and decided to help his neighbors... also
the end of movie was not like 99% of today's movies
would finish, he used his brains rather then brute force
to put bad guys where they belong to and for that it has
my compliments... I am giving 3 out of maximum 5 to Gran Torino
which means you should see it and then deicide if you'll
like it or not... it's ok movie but as i said, wasn't
for me which doesn't mean you won't like it :) i say
again, on many other sites it got pretty good rates...

I have read several reviews of Appaloosa
before watching it and in some of them it got good
ratings while in others it was rated as one of worst
westerns made recently... I personally liked it and i
think it's good movie, not one of best westerns but just
a good one... Movie follows two cowboys that arrived to town called
Appaloosa where they found big problems with
gangsters that sheriff and town authorities couldn't
solve... Two of them then made a deal with authorities
to hand over town to them and in return they will
protect it's citizens... I am not going to uncover
further events in movie, i'll just say that all 3 main actors (Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen and Jeremy Irons)
did good job while main actress (Renee Zellweger) was
pretty lame... As i said on start Appaloosa is worth
watching at least once so i'm giving it 3.5 out of maximum 5... if you like westerns
make it 4 :)
